Hmm, this doesn't read very promising...I doubt a 'level of aggression not typically seen' is the direction that would appeal the most to me, but we'll see.
Agree that their debut is their best work, although I think 'It Won't Be' is really strong as well.
I think it's pretty good, especially the first half! I'm unconvinced by 'Dead Flowers' though, and the second as a whole is less memorable to me. Not sure if that's because of the quality of those songs or that by the time I reach them I'm getting a bit tired of their style.
Album is out this Friday, March 27th.
Quality stuff as always from these guys, even if I don't wholeheartedly love it.
