Consider it a mellow hip hop cousin twice removed- connected in tone but we’re talking very different branches of the tree. Ngl a list of similar albums for this was a challenge

Thank you for such a thoughtful review — beautifully written and really captures the emotional weight of hopefully !. It’s a rare thing to see a record so unafraid to be soft, even if it leans a bit heavy at times.
