Yes yes yes best New Age for a new year! Agreed that this takes a while to open up (opening run is nice, but "Haze with no Haze" is another level entirely). It's a little sparse at points and I'm not sure that it's as substantive or intricately textured as ML's Goodbye, Hotel Arkada (which was a record full of good collaborations) but still extremely lovely as what it sets out to be, as elaborated perfectly in the review. Must hear more Julianna Barwick!
I suppose this will be my first 2026 album. I like Julianna barwick and the Rachel's Song cover is too intriguing to pass up as a huge blade runner fan
