Oh, you’re still here…
Congratulations on making it all the way to the twentieth edition, which, as the subtitle suggests, will also be the last post of this kind you’ll see from me. We’ve pried the gates wide open for you, featuring roughly 500 releases between the end of June and today, all the while making sure the Rühlesque walking wardrobes we stationed at the exit points kept the unwashed specimens out of your first three proxemic distance zones. And what a high note we get to end on!
Alongside the fantastic new VoidCeremony album and the expectedly weird and fun Veilburner LP, there’s a flurry of intriguing death metal releases this week: from Primal Scourge’s brodoom to Strigiform’s eccentric discord to Ch’ahom’s ch’aotic blasts of warfare, there’s no shortage of enjoyable string abuse. Fans of all subgenres are eating good today (or last Sunday, as it were).
